The 16th Education Conference is dedicated to the topic “Learning democracy – but how?”. The focus is on how democratic skills can be strengthened and taught sustainably under today’s social and technological conditions.
Participants can expect scientifically sound contributions and practical impulses from education, politics, media and business. Eight keynotes offer a variety of perspectives – from the political socialization of young people to media and information literacy to schools as a place of democratic debate. Economic arguments, innovative teaching methods such as gamification and edutainment as well as new approaches to political education are also highlighted.
