25th Economic Forum 2025 - Review

Power Sessions as a prelude

Starting at 2 p.m., compact power sessions offered participants the opportunity to delve deeper into current topics. Companies such as Bervit Cybersecurity, uniqFEED, Uber, Scheuss & Partner, Online Consulting, Jenewein and Kieser presented practical use cases and live demos - and provided valuable inspiration for everyday working life in the future.

Official opening with strong messages

The main program kicked off at 5 pm in the Convention Hall. Rahel Kindermann, Managing Director of FRZ, opened the anniversary forum and emphasized the importance of networking and exchange platforms. André Ingold, Mayor of Dübendorf and President of the FRZ, emphasized the close cooperation between municipalities, institutions and the private sector. Councillor Ernst Stocker thanked those present for their commitment and was optimistic about the economic development of the region.

Artificial intelligence and elite sport: impulses from two worlds

A special moment arose when Prof. Dr. Thilo Stadelmann, Head of the ZHAW Center for AI, took the stage together with the humanoid robot Henrietta. He showed where AI technology stands today and how humans and machines can work together optimally in the future. The subsequent panel discussion was also a hit: Belinda Bencic, Olympic tennis champion, Michelle Heimberg, European champion in water jumping, and Christoph Joho, co-director of Weltklasse Zürich, discussed "Defeats & Comebacks". The parallels between top-class sport and business provided impressive insights.

Presentation of the FRZ Excellence Award

Another highlight was the presentation of the FRZ Excellence Award, which was presented for the second time. The award went to Burri public elements AG, represented by Sabine Bellefeuille-Burri and Martin Burri. In her laudatory speech, Sonja Wollkopf Walt, Head of Business Expansion & Markets, IPZ Operation AG and FRZ Sustainability Advisory Board member, praised the innovative strength, continuous development and sustainable orientation of the family business. The entrepreneurs were visibly moved when they accepted the award.

Energetic finale

Finally, adventurer and world record holder Marc Hauser took the audience on an impressive journey and showed how focus and perseverance can lead to extraordinary results even in turbulent times. Rahel Kindermann rounded off the evening with an outlook on upcoming events before the guests rounded off the day with an aperitif riche.

The 25th Economic Forum will be remembered as a complete success!
