According to a press release, the specialist in computational intelligence, a specialized field of artificial intelligence that approaches problem solutions heuristically and approximately, intends to use the new location to expand its position and expertise in Switzerland. Altair offers its cloud-based software solutions to sectors in healthcare, life sciences, banking and financial services as well as industry. The global company focuses on the automotive sector, the heavy machinery industry, aerospace and rail transportation.
