Wallisellen ZH – The Software Defined Mainframe developed by LzLabs has passed the quality control by Amazon Web Services. The software-based mainframe has been recognized as AWS Qualified Software.
The IT company LzLabs , headquartered in Wallisellen, Switzerland, has media release that Amazon Web Services(AWS) has successfully completed the audit of its software-defined mainframe. The Foundational Technical Review (FTR) of AWS has been successfully completed.
LzLabs considers it an important milestone that the LzLabs Software Defined Mainframe is classified as AWS Qualified Software. LzLabs develops secure, efficient and innovative solutions for the integration, modernization and cloud migration of mainframe applications and data.
The combination of LzLabs' capabilities and the AWS cloud platform has, for example, enabled a global automotive manufacturer to gradually move business-critical processes and applications from its legacy mainframe to the cloud-based LzLabs Software Defined Mainframe (SDM), according to the LzLabs application. Capacity limits, long processing times and a shrinking workforce were the reasons for this project. The solution was to modernize applications using LzLabs SDM while leaving key business processes unchanged. As a result, LzLabs cites higher service levels, lower operating costs, faster processing times for customers and increased future viability due to the scalability and elasticity of the modern cloud platform.
"Achieving this certification demonstrates that LzLabs meets the high standards set by AWS. It is a testament to the reliability and forward-thinking approach of the LzLabs Software Defined Mainframe and our commitment to providing our customers with best-in-class solutions for legacy modernization, integration and migration," said Roman Gerteis, Vice President of Development at LzLabs. ce/gba
