ANYbotics and Energy Robotics cooperate for the energy sector

Zurich/Darmstadt – The mobility and autonomy of ANYbotics’ inspection robots will be complemented by the artificial intelligence (AI)-based software platform for fleet management and analysis functions from Energy Robotics. This new partnership is intended to benefit the energy sector in particular.

ANYbotics and Energy Robotics have agreed on a strategic cooperation. It is primarily intended to benefit energy companies and was presented at ACHEMA, the leading international trade fair for the process industry, which ended on June 14 in Frankfurt am Main.

According to a press release, the deep integration between ANYbotics ' four-legged inspection robot ANYmal and Energy Robotics' artificial intelligence software platform for fleet management and analytics for robot fleets will accelerate the adoption of ANYmal by Energy Robotics' customers. At the same time, it enables customers of ANYbotics, a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich founded in 2016, to use Energy Robotics' AI software platform.

"We believe that this partnership will set a new standard in autonomous robotics," says Dominik Neuwirth, who is responsible for partnerships at the Darmstadt-based company Energy Robotics. "Our AI-powered fleet management and analytics software platform will complement the unrivaled mobility and autonomy of ANYbotics' robots and add significant value to the industry."

The integration of the two technologies was recently successfully demonstrated by a leading international energy company, which tested the scaling of automated robot inspections. "The partnership with Energy Robotics makes it easier for our customers to seamlessly integrate multiple inspection robots into their operations," Satchin Bansal, Global VP Strategic Alliances & Partnerships at ANYbotics, is quoted as saying. "It also accelerates market penetration, because the expertise of both go-to-market teams is profitably incorporated here." ce/mm
