Arqh secures 3 million Swiss francs in pre-seed financing round

(CONNECT) The start-up Arqh has closed a pre-seed financing round of 3 million Swiss francs. As CEO and co-founder Antonia Unger explains in a LinkedIn post, the financing round was led by Founderful, with participation from Merantix Capital. The company has developed a new method using artificial intelligence (AI) to enable real-time decisions in logistics. 

In her article, Unger refers to an interview she conducted with Tech Funding News. Accordingly, the capital will support the expansion of Arqh's development and research teams and accelerate the development of its next generation of decision intelligence software.

Since its market launch 14 weeks ago, Arqh's AI platform has helped logistics teams to reduce their fleet operating costs by over 15 percent and manual planning costs by around 80 percent. According to Unger, planning in logistics is still largely manual and inflexible and requires data scientists at Master's and PhD level to develop customized solutions. The AI solution from Arqh simplifies the complex process.

Arqh's technology combines language models with a "hybrid agentic" optimization platform that processes complex, real-world inputs. This allows mathematically optimized route planning to be created, which even takes into account disruptions such as traffic, accidents or customer changes that may occur during the course of the day. The platform also allows urgent deliveries to be prioritized and thus offers a high degree of adaptability. ce/nta
