Rümlang ZH – Big Kaiser is expanding its range to include a series of indexable insert milling cutters. Compared to conventional solid carbide milling cutters, FCRs offer higher performance and lower costs.

Big Kaiser is launching a new series of its Fullcut Mill FCR indexable insert milling cutters. They have an innovative monobloc design, the global manufacturer of precision tools from Rümlangen explains in a press release. This reduces vibrations, increases system rigidity and improves process reliability and consistency, writes Big Kaiser.

The FCR indexable insert milling cutters are available in two different diameters and in two versions with two or three indexable inserts. Big Kaiser also offers a standard version and a long nose version of the FCR indexable insert milling cutter. Compared to conventional solid carbide milling cutters, the FCR indexable insert milling cutters offer higher performance at lower costs, according to the manufacturer.

"The Fullcut Mill FCR is a versatile tool that enables excellent multifunctional milling," Giampaolo Roccatello, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for Europe at Big Kaiser, is quoted as saying in the press release. "It is particularly suitable for processing tough hot forming materials and enables a significant increase in productivity and material removal." ce/hs
