ÜBER BLUELION

Bluelion is Zurich’s leading start-up hub and community, founded in 2012 by the City of Zurich, ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich, Zürcher Kantonalbank, Swisscom and Wenger & Vieli. As a foundation with a practical, founder-oriented mindset, Bluelion promotes entrepreneurship and technology at an early stage and empowers start-ups to grow and succeed.

WHO WE SUPPORT

We are open to all industries, but particularly support start-ups with a strong focus on technology and high scalability. Furthermore, there must be above-average social and/or economic potential.

Our mission is to create a dynamic and collaborative ecosystem that connects founders, investors and industry experts to foster innovation and growth. We offer tailor-made support programmes, start-up financing for climate tech start-ups, access to investors and industry partners, flexible office space and a supportive community.

Since our foundation, Bluelion has supported over 230 start-ups, which together have raised more than CHF 450 million in venture capital. With a clear focus on practical support, we help founders turn ideas into effective and scalable businesses.
