Cada helps with fertility with a practice, laboratory and clinic

Zurich – The start-up Cada offers diagnosis and therapy to the involuntarily childless. It opened its practice and the associated diagnostic laboratory in Zurich in December 2023. A clinic is soon to be added in a central location.

The start-up Cada, which focuses on reproductive medicine, has been operating a practice and diagnostic laboratory in Zurich since December 2023. According to a press release, it offers accessible and holistic fertility treatment with state-of-the-art technologies and experienced specialists. CEO Benedikt Förster has brought Gabriel Schär, Emeritus Clinic Director of Gynecology at Zurich University Hospital and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Thun Hospital, and gynecologist and reproductive medicine specialist Michael Jemec on board as advisors.

A clinic of its own "in a prime location in Zurich" will soon round off the offering. Unwanted childlessness is a taboo subject and a burden for those affected, Förster is quoted as saying. "We have made it our mission to provide medically competent, empathetic and personal support to people who wish to have a family, while making every step simple and transparent."

The spectrum of therapies ranges from fertility checks for women and men to hormone therapies and assisted reproductive technologies such as intrauterine insemination. According to the information provided, in-vitro fertilization and social freezing will also be offered in the near future. The individual treatment plan is also shown in the Cada app. ce/mm
