The Circular Tour de Suisse makes a stop in the Zürioberland region. The aim of the initiative is to provide concrete impetus and promote new partnerships through the exchange of successful practical examples from the circular economy.
In the Zurich Oberland, the focus is on the use of regional side streams from food production – in particular whey and spent grains. These residual materials offer diverse potential for innovative business models, sustainable value creation and a more resilient regional economy. In the course of 2026, the Circular Tour will make two more stops in the canton of Zurich.
Stable regional economic cycles and supply chains are more important than ever, and new partnerships, offers and innovative business models are in demand. The Zürioberland location promotion agency and the cantonal location promotion agency make a decisive contribution here by specifically strengthening local companies, promoting innovation and advancing regional networking.
