European Hyperloop Week comes to Zurich

Zurich – The European Hyperloop Week will take place in Zurich this year from July 15 to 21. The largest annual event on Hyperloop technology is hosted by the Swissloop association of students at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.

This year, the student association of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich(ETH) is hosting the event organized by Swissloop in cooperation with the student Hyperloop teams Delft Hyperloop from the Netherlands, HYPED from Edinburgh and Hyperloop UPV from Valencia.

Over 400 participants from 21 student teams from all over the world are expected to attend the European Hyperloop Week in Zurich. They will be presenting their current work and research from July 15 to 18 at the ETH Hönggerberg - HIL building. On Sunday, July 21, the projects will also be presented to the public in the Europahalle Zurich.

As part of European Hyperloop Week, the official inauguration of the first expansion phase of the EuroTube Foundation 's Demo Tube Hyperloop test facility will also take place on July 19 at the Innovation Park Zurich. At the same time, the Hyperloop teams in the Innovation Park are preparing their prototypes for competitions and demonstrations. They can also carry out their first test rides in the demo tube. A demonstration day of the plant is scheduled for Saturday, July 20.
