Fabas secures financing

Schlieren/Dietikon ZH – Fabas Food AG has secured 1.3 million Swiss francs in a further financing round. This will enable the company, which specializes in processing and marketing pulses, to drive forward the marketing of its products.

Fabas Food AG, based in Schlieren and Dietikon, was able to secure funds amounting to CHF 1.3 million in a further financing round. As stated in a message by company founder Anik Thaler on LinkedIn, this increased the company's funding to a total of 3.2 million Swiss francs. The total also includes subsidies that Fabas received from the City of Zurich in connection with the KlimUp funding program. Founder and CEO Thaler manages Fabas together with Lena Rutishauser, CMO and Legal Officer, and CTO Katharina Pälchen.

As Thaler explains on Linkedin, will use the newly acquired funds to drive forward the marketing of Fabas products. Fabas produces food based on pulses grown in Switzerland, such as beans, peas and chickpeas. The range of foods is being extended beyond fruit to include products based on crop proteins.
