Schlieren ZH/Shenzhen – Fixposition and Autocity are now working together. The Vision-RTK 2 positioning sensor from Fixposition is installed in the Chinese manufacturer’s Guangpo autonomous road sweeper.
Fixposition, a company based in Schlieren that specializes in precise navigation systems, has agreed a collaboration with Autocity in Shenzhen, China, according to a press release. According to the press release, Fixposition's state-of-the-art Vision RTK 2 positioning sensor will be installed in Autocity's Guangpo sweeper. Autocity is working with Fixposition to set a new standard in the autonomous street sweeper industry.
Autocity Unmanned Driving is a national high-tech company founded by the Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen. It is involved in the research and development, production and sale of driverless sweepers and artificial intelligence cloud platforms for smart city services.
