Zurich – FlexAgility offers companies the opportunity to deploy specialists for challenging projects on a temporary basis. The start-up specializes in compliance with complex legal regulations. The focus is on sectors with a high level of regulation, such as the financial industry.
The world of work is changing rapidly. Highly specialized experts no longer want to spend their entire lives working for a single company. Conversely, companies need expert knowledge for certain projects without wanting to employ specialists. FlexAgility aims to bring both sides together. The start-up, which was founded this spring, offers companies the experts they need and for as long as this expertise is needed.
The two founders Olivier Maeker and Jan Podokschik are building on their years at consulting firms and banks. "We provide talent instead of personnel," says Maeker. For many companies, it is a challenge to find the right people for special projects. "This cost block is eliminated thanks to FlexAgility."
Conversely, there are many experts who want to contribute their knowledge to different companies, says Podokschik: older experts in their pre-retirement years, mothers who want to return to work, graduates on their way into their careers. "We work with people who love what they do."
FlexAgility initially focuses on legal issues and compliance with complex legislation. The start-up is focusing on the financial industry, but also on other sectors with a high level of regulation. "We offer talent for both listed companies and start-ups," says Podokschik.
FlexAgility works together with Müller Paparis. The start-up's clients can therefore not only rely on the experts themselves, but also on the legal knowledge of a two-decade-old law firm. One of the partners, Rolf Müller, is a member of FlexAgility's Board of Directors. exelixis capital AG holds a stake in FlexAgility. ce/stk
