Flux Mobility starts production of the next generation

Winterthur – Flux Mobility has begun the launch of the next generation of its all-electric commercial vehicles. These feature a new system architecture, a clearly structured cockpit and an integrated screen as standard.

(CONNECT) Flux Mobility AG has started production of its new generation of fully electric commercial vehicles, according to a press release. Founded in 2021, the Winterthur-based developer has been working on the new concept for over two years. The vehicles are based on a new system architecture. This combines drive, body and assistance systems.

The vehicles now have a central touch-sensitive MAN Media Van screen with a size of 10.4 inches and an electronic parking brake as standard. The vehicles are also equipped with traffic sign recognition, an active lane departure warning system and drowsiness detection as standard.

"The new system architecture enabled us to design and develop the vehicle to be even safer and more reliable," said Dugagjin Hoti, CEO and co-founder of Flux Mobility AG, in the press release. "It forms a broad and strong platform for future functions that will make our vehicles even more attractive to professionals in their respective trades."

The first vehicles are to be handed over to the first customers in the coming weeks. "Operating the vehicles and seeing how the drivers can do their work even more easily with our vehicles makes the entire development team and me very proud," says Andreas Freese, Head of Development ad interim and first Flux employee. ce/ug
