Uster ZH/Marly FR – Revario and iceep have jointly launched a take-back solution for unused laundry in French-speaking Switzerland. In the first few weeks, the solution was already used for 13 percent of Revario’s online transactions. Circular models thus become part of the customer experience.
(CONNECT) Iceep is now also present in French-speaking Switzerland with its solution for taking back textiles. In March, the technology provider from Uster launched a take-back program for unused laundry together with the clothing manufacturer Revario, based in Marly. Interested parties can offer their used underwear for sale online at Revario.
Initial feedback has been positive, according to a press release. Since the launch, 12.8 percent of all online transactions have already made use of the return option.
With its solution, Iceep wants to combine the return of clothing with customer loyalty to the brands by making the return part of the customer experience. The participating brands are given access to used material that can be used again for the next usage cycle. At the same time, they are linking their own return programs to a more comprehensive circular ecosystem.
From Petros Timotheou's perspective, the potential is huge: "Small and medium-sized fashion brands account for more than 90 percent of the European fashion market," says the founder and CEO of iceep. Thousands of smaller brands could thus work together to shape the future of the Swiss and European circular economy in the textile industry. Swiss brands that already use the iceep solution include Muntagnard, Reslides and Rotauf.
Iceep is a brand of INNOVOPOLIS AG, which was founded in 2020. ce/ug
