Innosuisse supports LatticeFlow's platform for AI evaluation

Zurich/Bern – LatticeFlow AI has received around 3 million dollars from the Swiss innovation agency Innosuisse. In doing so, it is promoting the world’s first platform that combines artificial intelligence (AI) governance and technical assessments.

LatticeFlow AI is supported by Innosuisse with around 3 million dollars as part of its Swiss Accelerator projects. This brings the Zurich-based DeepTech start-up closer to launching the world's first platform that seamlessly integrates AI governance frameworks with the technical validations required to comply with regulatory standards such as the EU AI Act.

"Governance processes alone are not enough to meet AI standards and regulations," Dave Henry, SVP of Business Development at LatticeFlow, is quoted as saying in a statement from the spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich(ETH), which was founded in 2020. "Companies need in-depth technical validation to ensure that their models are reliable and comply with regulations. The platform we have developed provides just that, combining governance and operations."

Another important milestone in AI compliance, in which LatticeFlow AI plays a central role, is the launch of COMPL-AI, the first compliance-centric framework for the assessment of large language models aligned with the EU AI law. COMPL-AI was developed in collaboration with ETH and the Bulgarian Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology.

At the beginning of October, LatticeFlow and the Zurich-based consulting firm KPMG entered into a strategic partnership to further strengthen this project. LatticeFlow has so far raised over 17 million dollars in investments in Europe and the USA. His customers include the US Army, Singaporean Defense, Siemens Mobility and AI scale-ups such as Actuate. ce/mm
