On November 1, 2024, the revised standard SIA 166 “Adhesive reinforcements for the reinforcement of existing structures” came into force. The aim of the revision was to create a practicable document that takes into account modern reinforcement methods, transparently presents the possibilities and limitations of the technology and establishes standardized design procedures – without hindering future developments. The introductory event will present the content of the new standard, while participating companies will demonstrate its practical application using various examples.
