Kuros Biosciences' Marketing Team Wins Two Aster Awards

Schlieren, ZH/Murrells Inlet/Utrecht — The marketing team at Kuros Biosciences and its advertising agency, Mark Partners, have won two awards at the Aster Awards in the United States. The campaign and storytelling for MagnetOs, a synthetic bone substitute, received an award.

(CONNECT) The marketing team at Kuros Biosciences has been honoured with two Aster Awards. The communications professionals working for the medtech company were awarded gold certificates. Gold awards are presented to projects and campaigns that receive the highest scores from a panel of experts for outstanding creativity and excellence in healthcare communication. According to a press release from Kuros, the Aster Awards, organized by Creative Images of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, are “the most prestigious competition for advertising, marketing, and communication” in the U.S. healthcare marketing industry.

The award recognised the campaign surrounding the Phase 1 study published in the journal *Spine* for Kuros’ flagship product, the synthetic bone substitute MagnetOs, which stimulates bone growth at the cellular level. "Behind this is 'a team committed to telling the MagnetOS story in a simple, memorable, and evidence-based way—and, above all, to forging emotional connections with our customers,'" said Kuros.

According to Kuros, the company's advertising agency, Mark Partners, based in the Dutch city of Utrecht, also played a major role in this honour. As she explains, she was brought on board during the company's founding phase and developed a striking, memorable, and distinctive brand identity for Kuros. In particular, the frequent use of illustrations instead of photos is intended to give the brand a unique and impactful look while also allowing for flexibility across all forms of communication.

Kuros Biosciences AG was founded in 1985 as a spin-off of the University of Zurich and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and is based in the Bio-Technopark Schlieren-Zurich. ce/mm
