LiNK launches Estia app on the market

Winterthur – The Winterthur-based software start-up LiNK presented its Estia app at the Impact Hub Zurich. It is aimed at students and young professionals who are looking for a flatmate. LiNK now wants to enter into further partnerships with universities and colleges.

(CONNECT) LiNK has released the Estia app. It works like a dating app, but is primarily aimed at students and young professionals. According to a press release from the Winterthur-based software company founded in 2023, Estia is available in the app stores for Apple and Android devices.

The app is designed to help find suitable flatmates. The so-called matching algorithm takes into account a number of compatibility factors that promote harmonious cohabitation. Interests, preferences and habits are surveyed for this purpose. Interested parties can contact the app via text or audio messages. Estia is free of charge for users.

During the presentation at the Impact Hub Zurich, LiNK also presented its strategic partnerships. The Niels Brock Copenhagen Business College, for example, has integrated the app into its services for students. LiNK has worked with Danish co-living provider LifeX to provide a seamless rental experience for international students and young professionals.

According to the Estia team, they want to increase the number of users to 500,000 by 2026, especially in the 17 to 35 age group. Marketing efforts will focus on partnerships with universities and colleges. ce/mm
