Mosaic SoC receives funding of 3.8 million dollars

(CONNECT) The Zurich-based semiconductor start-up Mosaic SoC has raised 3.8 million dollars in a pre-seed financing round, according to a statement. The round was led by the Zurich-based venture capital firm Founderful, which specializes in early-stage Swiss technology start-ups. The Basel Kick Foundation also took part. It aims to strengthen Switzerland as a business and innovation location through its promotional activities.

The fresh capital flows into Mosaic SoC chips. These chips should achieve nothing less than the breakthrough of smart glasses.
