Zurich/Wakefield – N-Dream has entered into a cooperation with the British game developer and publisher Team17 for its AirConsole gaming platform. As a result, users can now play the cooking game Overcooked on TV screens and in new BMW cars.
For its AirConsole, N-Dream is cooperating with Wakefield-based games developer and publisher Team17. This has now been announced by the Zurich-based company. Thanks to this partnership, Overcooked, a game for several people about cooking, can now also be played on AirConsole. The dynamic game about cooking has many enthusiastic fans, according to N-Dream. It has also won numerous prizes "for its unique mix of fast action and teamwork".
Overcooked was developed by Ghost Town and published by Team17 in 2016. Up to four players control chefs in different kitchens who have to prepare meals and process orders within a time limit. "The collaborative chaos of Overcooked fits perfectly with AirConsole's vision of inclusive and fun games for multiple people," content director Michael Fuller is quoted as saying.
AirConsole takes a new approach to multiplayer gaming: the screen is the console. Smartphones are connected to it as control elements and thus become so-called gamepads. All AirConsole games can be played on TV screens and in new BMW vehicles.
BMW announced in October 2022 that it had chosen AirConsole by N-Dream as a partner. This cooperation emerged from the BMW Startup Garage program, one of the BMW Group's formats in its start-up ecosystem. AirConsole has been installed in BMWs since 2023. ce/mm
