The crowdfoods association and the Intergastra trade fair are entering into a promising partnership and integrating crowdfoods’ start-up and innovation trade fair and conference NEWFOOD X NOW into Intergastra 2026 for the first time.

After 6 successful new food and start-up events, the crowdfoods association will be holding its start-up and innovation trade fair and conference NEWFOOD X NOW for the first time from 8 to 10 February 2026 as part of Intergastra 2026.

NEWFOOD X NOW will be integrated into the Intergastra trade fair as an independent trade fair and conference area under the motto “Taste the Future of Food & Cuisine”.

At the future-oriented NEWFOOD X NOW Innovation Expo in the ICS Foyer, over 100 start-ups and innovators will have the opportunity to present their food innovations to trade visitors from the catering, retail and food industry in the DACH region on the three days of Intergastra with the highest visitor numbers.

The organizers are expecting around 75,000 trade visitors at the trade fair grounds in Stuttgart, including around 3,500 buyers and around 5,000 representatives from the retail sector.

Parallel to the New Food Expo, the three-day New Food Conference will take place in the ICS Conference Center at the trade fair. The NEWFOOD X NOW conference program is aimed at up to 2,000 participants and offers specialist presentations, talk panels and start-up pitches on all three days of the event.

In addition, two networking evenings, the “Investors Night” and the “Food Buyers Night”, have been organized for the 8. and February 9, 2026 and are aimed specifically at investors and purchasing managers.

Participation in the conference is free of charge for all trade fair visitors with a valid Intergastra ticket. Start-ups and innovators will have the opportunity to present their new products and solutions for the catering and food industry at over 100 standardized stands over three days.
