Bern/Opfikon ZH – PostFinance is offering a completely digital way to order a credit card. The company is integrating a new white label solution from SwissSign for this purpose. Other banks are also interested in the new signature solution from SwissSign.
SwissSign has developed a new white-label signature solution that companies can integrate into their own identification processes. PostFinance uses this solution to fully digitize its own credit card ordering process, SwissSign announced in a press release. The SwissSign solution is combined with the Bankident PostFinance identification procedure.
With the new procedure, documents no longer need to be printed out and sent by post. "For customers, the waiting time for their credit card will be enormously reduced," says Teodoro Pizzino, Customer Journey Owner Credit Cards at PostFinance, in the press release. "We benefit from a massive increase in efficiency, as the administrative workload is significantly reduced."
"Our innovative solution enables financial institutions to quickly and easily build on their existing identities in connection with the electronic signature," explains Frédéric Mauger, Chief Product Officer at SwissSign. "Similar projects with other banks are already underway - this reinforces our efforts to drive digitalization forward together with the banks."
SwissSign is a recognized trust service provider and specializes in digital certifications, electronic signatures and identity services. The Opfikon-based company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Swiss Post Ltd since October 2021. ce/hs
