PwC and Swiss Learning Hub join forces on sustainability

Zurich – PwC and Swiss Learning Hub are jointly launching interactive training courses on sustainable financial education. The training is aimed at employees in the financial sector whose work must comply with ESG guidelines. The background to the cooperation is new self-regulation.

The auditing and consulting firm PwC Switzerland and the education platform Swiss Learning Hub have announced their collaboration for the development of digital training courses. According to a press release, training programs are planned in the field of sustainable finance. The training program is suitable for employees of banks and financial service providers as well as for all those who work in Switzerland in accordance with the ESG guidelines (environment, social affairs, corporate governance).

The background to this is new self-regulation for sustainable finance. According to the press release, the resulting regulations oblige "members of the Swiss Bankers Association (SBA) to meet minimum standards with regard to the consideration of sustainability criteria in investment and mortgage advice".

The new sustainability requirements formed the basis of the two organizations' ESG training program. It comprises six digital self-study modules, including five specialized training courses and a certification test at the end. The overall content and the individual modules have been carefully tailored to the SBA's requirements.

Learning content includes ESG regulation, greenwashing, investments and best practices in sustainability risk. ce/heg
