(CONNECT) Zurich-based Qala AG has secured fresh capital of 2 million dollars in a pre-seed financing. According to an announcement on LinkedIn, the financing round was led by QBIT Capital and Haatch, with Backbone Ventures, ROI Ventures and experienced angel investors from the data security and technology sectors (via the Swiss ICT Investors Club/SICTIC) also participating.
According to the press release, Qala intends to use the money to scale its platform for real-time data control. The platform offered by the company enables users to control and transparently organize their ever-increasing flow of data. This increases both the security of data transfer and the manageability of large data streams, some of which are generated by artificial intelligence, the company assures. The platform allows origin, classification and policy enforcement to be traced directly at source. Real-time processing guarantees the delay-free transfer of large data streams. ce/ww
