Zurich/Hanover – Rimon Technologies is presenting its Rimon Go artificial intelligence-based system at EMO Hannover 2025 until September 29. It stores industrial work processes and secures the knowledge of long-standing employees in manufacturing companies for the next generation.
(CONNECT) Rimon is exhibiting at EMO Hannover with its Rimon Go knowledge capturing system. The world's largest trade fair for industrial machinery will take place from September 22 to 29 at the Hanover Exhibition Center. Rimon can be found in Hall 6 at Stand F18.
With Rimon Go, the spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, which was founded in 2020 and is based in Technopark Zurich, aims to counter demographic change. It is designed to help industrial companies capture, structure and pass on expert knowledge before it leaves the company. "Manufacturers worldwide are struggling with the wave of retirements," co-founder Michael Blickenstorfer is quoted as saying in a press release. "Our system keeps important knowledge available and can be found in seconds."
The system uses a lightweight bodycam kit to record professionals at work. It instantly transforms the footage into multilingual video-based work instructions and provides users with answers on demand via tablet, smartphone or computer.
Rimon Go was developed for field technicians and engineers. This gives them access to video instructions for work processes while on the move. With Digital Walter, they have the representation of a long-standing employee at their disposal, who has the accumulated knowledge of a long working life and makes it available to the next generation. Digital Walter provides instant explanations to any question and creates dynamic instructions based on the source of the uploaded data. ce/mm
