SHL and Swiss Food Research launch innovative pilot project

Zurich – The innovation network Swiss Food Research and the Swiss Hotel School Lucerne (SHL) are launching a joint pilot project. The focus is on the product development of sustainable and future-oriented foods.

The Swiss Hotel School Lucerne(SHL) and the innovation network Swiss Food Research are teaming up to develop new food products. The joint pilot project will start with the new semester and will serve to develop sustainable and future-oriented food products, according to a media release. The aim of this partnership is to promote innovation in the Swiss food and hospitality industry and to offer young companies an iterative process with chefs and sensory-savvy audiences in product development, it adds.

The pilot project will focus on close collaboration between chefs and students at SHL, innovation experts from Swiss Food Research and start-ups, according to the SHL statement.
