The Swiss AI shopping concierge for responsible consumption

SOORT is developing an AI-based shopping concierge that helps consumers to shop more consciously and conserve resources. The platform shows user-based new, used, rentable and, in future, repairable options, with verified stores, a transparent database and full EU AI Act compliance.

Goal: Simplify responsible consumer behavior by making sustainable decisions faster and more attractive.

Strongly anchored in the Zurich innovation system

SOORT is part of the SME & Startup AI program of the Canton of Zurich and works directly with the Swiss Data Science Center (ETH/EPFL). This roundtable gives selected companies access to scientific excellence, the development of AI prototypes and an in-depth exchange on responsible AI.

In addition, SOORT is actively supported by Innovation Zurich and is part of the regional ecosystem around the Zurich AI hub.

Technical implementation with top Swiss engineering

The development is being carried out together with Zühlke Engineering, supported by their experts in AI architecture, scalable infrastructure and data security. In parallel, SOORT is working closely with SDSC and Apertus (Swiss LLM) for a responsible, Swiss AI base.

A strong retail and circular economy network

We already have fixed partnerships with over 25 launch partners, including:

Together, they are creating a marketplace that makes Europe’s circular economy more visible and accessible.
