Kloten/Glattbrugg ZH – The Swiss Business School and the Zurich Airport Region Promotion Agency are looking for SMEs that would like to take part in their study on sustainability. The study focuses on the current state of knowledge in this area, possible support requirements and practical examples.
A scientific study carried out by the Swiss Business School(SBS) together with the Zurich Airport Region(FRZ) business network and location developer is now set to clarify how companies can be prepared for the increasing demands in terms of sustainability. According to a press release, the FRZ can see how great the need for information is in its current member survey. Over 200 companies stated that sustainability was a relevant topic for them.
SBS is responding to the growing need for analysis and cooperation in this field by establishing a new Center for Strategic Business Forecasting and Sustainability in the near future. Its head, Dr. Michael Gerlich, who is leading this study, emphasizes that sustainability is no longer just an issue for the future: "All companies of all sizes are actively or passively confronted with the topic. With this study, we are taking stock of the situation in order to identify both successes and needs in Switzerland."
The FRZ is also developing guidance for its members, for example through its first concrete project on sustainable digitalization. Together with partners, it deals with the circular economy as part of the Sustainability Navigator.
Both are calling on companies to take part in the study. It is possible online. ce/mm
