Study Tour Switzerland of the HWZ examines innovations

(CONNECT) The HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich (HWZ) organized a three-day study tour as part of its EMBA Digital Leadership course. The participants visited institutions such as the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology in Zurich (ETH) and Lausanne (EPFL), digitalswitzerland, Deep Tech Nation and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), according to a press release.

The aim of the tour was to give participants an understanding of how innovation ecosystems work, how to promote digital innovation and how this affects mechanisms in their own companies. In addition, the study tour promoted the exchange of ideas between the participants and the formation of stable networks among the managers.

"For me as the course director here at the HWZ, it was crucial when starting this cohort to convey that digital leadership means being able to read innovation ecosystems, classify technology and build bridges - between research, the market and society," Valerio Stallone, Head of the Department of Marketing & Digital at the HWZ and course director of the EMBA Digital Leadership HWZ, is quoted in the press release.
