Swiss Startup Association takes over Startup Nights

Winterthur – The Startup Nights are becoming a brand of the Swiss Startup Association. The association of young Swiss companies also takes over the team for the annual event. The Startup Nights have been organised by the Entrepreneur Club Winterthur since 2017.

(CONNECT) The annual Startup Nights in Winterthur are now organised by the Swiss Startup Association. The association of young Swiss companies, which is also based in Winterthur, was already a co-organiser of this year's Startup Nights, which took place in the Eulach-Hallen at the beginning of November. It now wants to place the format in a national context, according to a press release. This should also ensure the long-term impact of the format. The Swiss Startup Association is taking over the entire existing team.

The Startup Nights have been organised by the Entrepreneur Club Winterthur since 2017. Its president Raphael Tobler moved to the presidency of the Swiss Startup Association almost six years ago. "With the takeover by the Swiss Startup Association, we are bringing together two strong initiatives and creating the basis for making Swiss entrepreneurship even more visible, networked and influential - both nationally and internationally," Tobler is quoted as saying in the press release.

Regula Bleuler now wants to develop the Startup Nights into a beacon that is visible throughout Switzerland. "The Startup Nights embody what we stand for as the Swiss Startup Association: A spirit of innovation, courage and cohesion," says the Managing Director of the Swiss Startup Association.

Michael Kubli is proud of what he has achieved. "With the handover to the Swiss Startup Association, the event is now in the hands of an organisation that shares our vision, will continue to work together with the existing Startup Nights team and will continue the format nationally," says the President of the Entrepreneur Club Winterthur. ce/ug
