Unita Capital invests in Selma Finance

(CONNECT) The Zug-based Unita Capital Group has invested a six-figure sum in Selma Finance, according to a statement. The Zurich-based fintech wants to use this to further develop its digital asset management.

For example, the advisory processes for long-term investors based on artificial intelligence (AI) are to be expanded and new offers are to be created for newly retired people. "The investment is a strong sign of confidence in our approach of using fintech and AI to make long-term investing and retirement easier and more accessible," Patrik Schär is quoted as saying. Selma's portfolios are managed automatically on the basis of data and supplemented by AI-supported financial advice. According to the entrepreneurial investment club Unita Capital, Selma is thus addressing a market that is actively growing due to demographic change and the increasing demand for digital pension advice. Selma impresses "with its mix of clear product vision, demonstrable growth and strong positioning".
