Schlieren ZH – Venturelab enables ten medtech startups to spend time in Boston. They can present their business models there and establish contacts with potential partners and investors.
Venturelab has selected ten startups to present in the Boston medtech ecosystem from 25 to 29 September, according to a media release. This is the third consecutive Boston residency Venturelab has facilitated for medtech startups. "The innovation of Venture Leaders Medtech 2023 is remarkable: the solutions have the potential to transform the industry and I look forward to introducing the companies to the investor community in Boston," Jordi Montserrat, Managing Partner at Venturelab, is quoted as saying in a media release.
A total of around 60 startups applied for the trip. A jury has selected the ten companies that will be able to present themselves and their business idea in Boston and establish contacts with other companies and investors. The ten startups will present themselves at an event in Lausanne on 10 August.
The participants are KOVE medical and PIPRA from Zurich. KOVE is working to minimise the rate of premature births, while PIPRA is developing personalised treatments based on artificial intelligence. Other participants include Artiria Medical from Borex VD, Fusion Lab Technologies and PeriVision from Epalinges VD, HeroSupport from Veyrier GE, mimix Biotherapeutics from Wavre NE, NeoPredix from Basel, Regenosca from Lausanne and Testmate Health from Chavannes-de-Bogis VD. ce/jh/Café Europe
