Zurich/Atlanta – Verity has been nominated for one of this year’s Modex Innovation Awards. The prize is to be awarded to the Zurich-based company’s self-flying inventory drone.
Verity, the Zurich-based specialist for self-flying drones, has been nominated for a Modex Innovation Award 2024. According to a press release, the company is to be recognized for its autonomously flying drones for registering stock levels. This year, Verity is one of the eleven companies nominated for an award at the Modex trade and logistics fair. The Modex Innovation Awards recognize pioneering projects in the area of goods flow and supply chain. Around 200 companies applied for this in 2024.
Modex 2024 will take place from March 11 to 14 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. 40,000 representatives from the production and logistics sectors are expected to attend the trade fair to discuss innovative products and project solutions.
Verity was founded in 2014 by Raffaelo D'Andrea as a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH). The company now operates in 13 countries on three continents. ce/ww
