As an independent knowledge hub, AGRIDEA has been proactively committed to sustainable, down-to-earth solutions in the Swiss agricultural and food sector since 1958. The association, with about 120 employees in Lindau, Lausanne and Cadenazzo, networks a wide range of actors through its agronomic methodological competencies and implements projects, courses, publications and software in strong partnerships.

At dieCuisine, everything revolves around sustainable nutrition. We rent a professional kitchen and rooms for events, workshops and seminars. You can let us cook for you or you can prepare your own meal under the guidance of our kitchen team and learn about important connections along the way. We organize cooking workshops and are involved in various projects for a sustainable food system. Because food is culture and community for us, on certain days we open our kitchen to anyone with a desire for a social engagement.

The digital health center bülach (dhc) is a physical center for innovation and digitalization in the healthcare sector. In addition to physical workstations and offices, it offers various services for the different industry players.

The vision of the dhc is to drive digitalization in the healthcare industry by bringing together start-ups, hospitals & clinics, retirement and nursing homes, health insurers, as well as ICT companies, software developers and other solution providers. The dhc facilitates and promotes exchange, networking, finding synergies, project partners and practical solutions for the challenges and issues of individual members through virtual and physical events, among other things.

The dhc is organized as an association and after a short time has already grown into a large and interdisciplinary network of around 60 members and more than 30 network partners. Our expertise in the field of digitalization is extremely broad and ranges from classic strategy consulting to data protection, technology consulting, innovation management, coaching and the implementation of thematic workshops. For healthcare start-ups, the dhc has already grown into a full-service agency and is a popular first point of contact for people,

The Balgrist Campus is a research institution of national importance recognized by the Swiss government.

It is a non-profit, tax-exempt institution dedicated to the musculoskeletal patients of today and specifically to the patients of tomorrow.

In the role of an incubator, patients, doctors, researchers and industry are brought together under one roof with the common goal of improving musculoskeletal health.

The Healthtechpark is a physical hub for healthtech companies and a community that provides hands-on support for healthtech start-ups in the Zurich region. We organise qualified workshops, coaching and services for start-ups in the Healthtechpark. We arrange suitable offices, laboratories or workshops.

Strickhof offers high-quality, practice-oriented basic and advanced training and consulting in the fields of agricultural, food technology and home economics.

Founded in December 2019: House of Insurtech Switzerland AG (HITS) is a subsidiary of Generali (Switzerland) Holding Ltd. An InsurTech Corp-Up Studio (Corp-Up is when a Corporate co-creates a solution with a start-Up), that builds innovative solutions with Generali Business Units (BUs) and start-ups that address challenges and create value focused on the DACH Region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).

We are a team of skilled innovation professionals who are experienced in partnering with Startups: starting from BUs needs, co-create prototypes of new products and services, which are fed back into Generali’s BUs.

The direct network currently includes more than 34 start-ups with knowledge from various technology areas including blockchain, AI, and digital payment and insurance. Partnerships with universities, technology providers, incubators, and accelerators complement the ecosystem. Innovation is offered within the network as a service to companies.

In close proximity to the ETH, the University and the University Hospital Zurich, a nationally and internationally important science park for companies and institutions from the life science sector has been created over the last two decades. On the former site of the Schweizerische Wagons- und Aufzügefabrik AG with a floor space of 55,000 m2 and on adjacent areas, the park today counts 50 companies as well as academic institutions that represent a healthy mix of young startups, globally active companies as well as university clinics, institutes and research groups.

As part of the Technopark Alliance, the Bio-Technopark supports young entrepreneurs, provides them with a tailored infrastructure and promotes exchange between all the life science organizations based here.

The Bio-Technopark received attention, among other things, thanks to successful sales of startups to large corporations and internationally active companies such as Roche, Novartis, J&J, GSK, Pfizer, Thermo Fisher Scientific. Notable financing rounds, the stock market listing of Molecular Partners and Kuros, and successful product developments also made headlines. Today, the life science organizations employ 1,500 people locally.

ESA BIC Switzerland is a incubator that offers extensive support packages (technical, business and financial support plus networking and community building) to startups that exploit technologies related to space for application on earth or technologies from earth adapted for usage in space. This relates to application fields such as navigation and positioning, telecommunication, cybersecurity, earth observation, materials & processes, space transportation & logistics or robotics.

The Startup Organisation Wädenswil (grow) promotes startups and supports business ideas primarily in the field of life sciences. In principle, however, grow is open to all sectors. For example, grow also counts companies from the IT sector among its members. What is important is a high potential for technical innovation. Grow offers advice and assistance in the founding and further development of startups. Grow also offers space (labs, offices) and networking with other startups and universities, such as the ZHAW.

In the modern startup space, we offer co-working workstations and offices, a domiciliation service, meeting rooms and seminar rooms, the LOX restaurant, and an event space for up to 300 people. The location was completely renovated in autumn 2021 and is now very popular with tenants (startups, SMEs, corporates, initiatives) and users of the seminar and event space. The startup space is located directly at Schlieren railway station and can be reached by public transport from Zurich main station in just 9 minutes. There are also over 100 parking spaces available.
