The CleanTech Hub Dietikon supports companies from the environment, energy, mobility and transport sectors in strengthening and positioning themselves in the competitive environment. The CleanTech Hub Dietikon brings members together with innovation providers/startups so that cleantech innovations can emerge.

In the heart of the Swiss business center, Trust Square offers two places where entrepreneurs, startups, universities, and investors from blockchain, technology, and innovation come together to implement and realize ideas. We offer you private offices and working desks at Rennweg and Paradeplatz. Our events inspire, connect, and promote exchange, and our Service Portfolio enables us to bring concepts and ideas to success. The Venture Service team assists our clients with daily operations so they can focus on their core business and growth.

The Competence Centre for Rehabilitation Engineering and Science (RESC) at ETH Zurich is a nexus of expertise from academia, hospitals, industry, government, healthcare, and disability organisations. We establish a holistic rehabilitation approach to better meet the needs of patients and people with physical disabilities by facilitating research and transfer, fostering an interdisciplinary network, and raising awareness along the continuum-of-care.

ESA BIC Switzerland is a incubator that offers extensive support packages (technical, business and financial support plus networking and community building) to startups that exploit technologies related to space for application on earth or technologies from earth adapted for usage in space. This relates to application fields such as navigation and positioning, telecommunication, cybersecurity, earth observation, materials & processes, space transportation & logistics or robotics.

The Startup Organisation Wädenswil (grow) promotes startups and supports business ideas primarily in the field of life sciences. In principle, however, grow is open to all sectors. For example, grow also counts companies from the IT sector among its members. What is important is a high potential for technical innovation. Grow offers advice and assistance in the founding and further development of startups. Grow also offers space (labs, offices) and networking with other startups and universities, such as the ZHAW.

The ZHAW Proof of Concept Lab (PoC Lab) is a collaborative innovation and maker space in which companies, start-ups, university institutes and students work together to develop new business models, product innovations and innovation methods.

Switzerland Innovation Park Central - Connecting Great Minds

We promote cooperation between companies, start-ups and universities for innovations in the building and energy sector. Together with our partners, we create an ecosystem that accelerates the translation of research results into marketable products and services. We offer space in an inspiring environment, labs, project funding, innovation support, a digital co-creation platform and inspiring events within a strong community.

The IPZ creates a new, optimally networked platform for research, development, and innovation for cooperation between science and industry on the site of the Dübendorf airfield.

The Bluelion Foundation is a non-profit incubator and accelerator based in Zurich. We help entrepreneurs create fast-growing and sustainable businesses.

The Healthtechpark is a physical hub for healthtech companies and a community that provides hands-on support for healthtech start-ups in the Zurich region. We organise qualified workshops, coaching and services for start-ups in the Healthtechpark. We arrange suitable offices, laboratories or workshops.

Technopark Zurich creates a stimulating environment and promotes innovations in the market.
As a visible result, new jobs are created that strengthen the economic cycle. The successful mix of different industries and disciplines, universities, research institutions, start-ups and established companies as well as careful tenant selection, contribute to the fact that the "Technopark" brand is now a widely recognised quality label.

At the new Glasi site in Bülach North, a centre for digital innovation in the healthcare sector will be established by the end of 2023: the digital health centre (dhc). Here, start-ups, ICT service providers and corporates will jointly shape the digital transformation in the healthcare sector.

From April 2022, the centre will operate in a temporary building at Schützenmattstrasse 14 in 8180 Bülach.

Researchers, medical practitioners, developers and industry collaborate at the Balgrist Campus in order to alleviate and to resolve the problems of patients suffering from musculoskeletal conditions.

Where startups take off

In close proximity to the ETH, the University and the University Hospital Zurich, a nationally and internationally important science park for companies and institutions from the life science sector has been created over the last two decades. On the former site of the Schweizerische Wagons- und Aufzügefabrik AG with a floor space of 55,000 m2 and on adjacent areas, the park today counts 50 companies as well as academic institutions that represent a healthy mix of young startups, globally active companies as well as university clinics, institutes and research groups.

As part of the Technopark Alliance, the Bio-Technopark supports young entrepreneurs, provides them with a tailored infrastructure and promotes exchange between all the life science organizations based here.

The Bio-Technopark received attention, among other things, thanks to successful sales of startups to large corporations and internationally active companies such as Roche, Novartis, J&J, GSK, Pfizer, Thermo Fisher Scientific. Notable financing rounds, the stock market listing of Molecular Partners and Kuros, and successful product developments also made headlines. Today, the life science organizations employ 1,500 people locally.
